that’s a great question and one that is *completely* up to you and your goals in your workout/fitness routine. at zenstudio we are all about cross training in order to provide your body with a comprehensive regime. of course most people have their favorite methods, we encourage all clients to change it up and find a mix of cardio, strength, and stretch inspired/focused classes for maximum benefit. if you’re curious on what could work best for you, ask us! we’re happy to try and help you figure out a routine.
starting (or re-starting) is the hardest step! so, congratulate yourself on taking that monumental step – it’s a big deal! everyone begins somewhere, so we ask you keep an open mind as you begin your zenstudio journey and focus on the way the classes, instructors, and experience make you feel. the physical results will come, trust us, but we like to incorporate the full mind + body experience into what we do. we always encourage you go at your own pace, take modifications when offered/needed, and know we are here for you every step of the way.
  • studioCYCLE: low impact cardio that’s easy on the joints (yaaass to keeping those hips, knees, ankles healthy), decreases stress, and provides a full-body cardiovascular workout with special emphasis on the lower body.
  • studioBARRE: low impact strength and toning workout that focuses on small, isometric movements to connect deep with the muscles. the whole body will activate and be strengthened by focusing on and ‘burning out’ the major muscle groups from glutes to core to shoulders and everything in between. barre improves posture, strengthens the abdominals, and can increase flexibility.
  • studioSCULPT: strength training is proven to help individuals see a variety of workouts, depending on the style of the workout, duration, and consistency. not only do you improve your muscular strength, strength training improves balance and coordination, helps to burn calories efficiently, lowers risks of injury, and targets the full body for an overall great workout.
